Privacy Policy

Last updated August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Blueline collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two kinds of information: information about you (a coach or staff member using Blueline), and information your organization enters about hockey prospects.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password when you or your organization creates a Blueline account.

Billing information: subscription and payment details are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Blueline does not store your card number — we only store limited billing metadata (like the subscription status and last four digits of a card) needed to run your account.

Prospect information: your organization's coaching staff may enter information about hockey prospects — name, position, team, league, class year, and scouting notes — for recruiting purposes. This is entered by your organization, not collected by us directly from players. Some prospects may be minors; we do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and this data is entered and controlled entirely by your organization.

Usage data: standard technical information like IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the service secure and working correctly.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to provide and improve Blueline, process billing, communicate with you about your account, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your information or your organization's prospect data to third parties.

3. Who Can See What

Prospect and scouting data entered by your organization is only visible to members of your own organization's account — coaches from one team cannot see another team's roster or reports. Blueline's platform administrator can access account and billing information across organizations for support and operational purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe to process payments and AWS to host the application. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account and prospect data for as long as your organization's account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains associated with your account but access is paused until you resubscribe. To request permanent deletion of your organization's data, contact us at the address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You can update or delete your account information at any time from your profile settings, or contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
